Minutes of Meeting held on 3 January 2023 at Hundith Hill Hotel

Minutes of last meeting: Minutes of 14 December 2022 agreed
Matters Arising:
Awards Night: 4 February 2023 at MSport: Agreed 7.30pm start. Russell has problems with awards, but it is hoped will be resolved before the night. Roger to confirm with Malcolm certain items. Agreed to cater for 40. We need a list of those attending for MSport security - Roger to put item in magazine which will go out slightly earlier, stating numbers are needed by 30 January at the latest, and asking members to contact Ian by text or email if they would like to attend. Stephen to update Facebook, and Maggy website.
2023 Dates: Russell and Stephen to liaise regarding possible date changes due to clashes with CMSG events.
12 Cars – Richard to organise next on 30 January (date change to allow Msport guys to attend). Agreed to keep with tulip format for novices, but maybe introduce grid lines, spot heights for experts. Stephen to arrange 20 February, and possibly Richards dad Andy on 27 March (Richard to check). Possibility of creating a Pearl Wilson championship out of the 2023 12 car events – Roger to check with Malcolm to see if ok.
Stephen has also agreed to do a MSport specific 12 car event.

Treasurers Report/Finance 2022: As previous
Secretary: Asked for confirmaion to pay SD34 £30 for 2023 membership – all agreed.
Webpage now appears to be working correctly.
Competition Secretary: First 12 car ran well, using tulips.

Russell has said that 2022 will be the last year he arranges the awards.
